how do I update a tree

I have a family tree online at WikiTree already. I have added may new family members to the tree since I uploaded the tree to WikiTree. I would like to upload the new version of the tree now. How can do this?

If you upload another whole gedcom at this point you will create many duplicates, which wikitree doesn't allow.

You could create small gedcom's with just the new people and the new families you've discovered.

The easiest way is to just start creating your new people one at a time by attaching them to their relatives that already exist here. You can update the old people on your watchlist at the same time.

Thank you. That's what I had been doing but I was hoping that there was a way to avoid adding them one by one.

I do them about 25 at a time.  I copy the 25 names from the master GEDcom into a new20171201.ged.  I make sure I include one or two connecting people.  I try to choose people who don't have a lot of possible matches since that is a pain-in-the-behind.  I then copy all the family records and all the source records into new20171201.ged.  Wiki's import looks at the individuals and doesn't worry about extra families.  (Ancestry.com's import will actually make any individual found in a family.)

To be quite honest, once those are done I
1) open new20171201-MartinezBranch.ged.
2) save it as new20171203-GriffinBranch.ged
3) remove the all Martinez individuals except the one I need to connect.
4) put in Griffin individuals.
5) upload and cross my fingers.
