I need help finding James Culpepper Williams of Union/Anson county of North Carolina

I’m am needed some help finding the parents of James Culpepper Williams (1823-1881).  Oh Find-a-Grave it list the father as Johnathan Williams https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/27908218/james-culpepper-williams

Oh Family Search it list the father as Herring Williams (1795-1869) https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/family/LH5V-31S.

Can anyone help with this. I connected my relative Geneva Williams Moore https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Williams-116512 to her father James Culpepper Williams https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Williams-115078 and he was already connected to Johnathan Williams https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Williams-17377 .   But other research says otherwise. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

James C Williams of Union County, NC was the executor of the estate of Herron (Herring) Williams. Listed as heirs were, Nancy Williams. James C Williams, John C Williams, Catherine Bivens, Marth Trull, Mary Austin, Lidia M Griffin, Samuel Liles and John M Liles. Nancy was the wife, the rest apparently children and grandchildren. Large estate file here.
