How to scan an obituary newspaper clipping. Seems to be more difficult and not user friendly than it was before?

I have been attempting to upload an obituary newspaper article into my mother's profile, along with a birth certificate, etc. - cannot do so. Very difficult. Much more so than when I uploaded items a couple of months ago? So ... I decided to scan it into WiKiTree - also cannot do it.

Why is WiKiTree so difficult and tedious to use?

What problems are you encountering? Can you be more specific?

I am a big fan of my digital camera. Take a couple of photos of your documents, download the photos onto your computer, make sure you save them as jpegs (not TIFF files), and you should find it goes smoothly.
