I have about 150 Manns on my trusted list.  I would be happy to participate in your Mann one-name-study.  But there is no way I am going to join Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

this g2g thread is part of a series highlighting One Name studies.  Azure is also sharing these "posts" on many of the social media platforms.  That above blurb is just her way of sharing this study and getting it out to the masses.

If you want to join in on a particular One Name Study, I'd advise going directly to the studies' wikitree free space page (which is noted at the very bottom of the blurb), and then see how the manager of that study is advising folks to join.

Hi Janet,

I appreciate the comment that you left on our https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Mann_Name_Study because the research pages are added by those members of the Mann Name Study who are representing all of the Mann family Profiles in their family ancestral line that they wish to write about.

This can include a biography of each Mann Profile that they want to highlight, either starting with the first Mann in their ancestral line or any other Mann in their family line that should be represented.

Are there any published books based on your Mann family line with possible links?

Here are a few examples you can add:

1. Published books based on your Mann Family line with possible links?

2. Historical societies in the geographical area of study that hold files on your Mann family?

3. Family Historical Societies?

4. Websites that are dedicated to your Mann Family line?

5. Pictures are welcome to be added to our Mann Name Study.

6. Any DNA https://www.familytreedna.com/groups/mann/about

This Mann Name Study is a group endeavor by all of us members.

I started with my Man/Mann Family line, and now I want this to continue with every Mann Family line that members are willing to share. Just please start by adding your name to our membership list, or I can do that.

I am open to all suggestions by you and anyone else to make our Mann Name Study a want-to-check-out site.

I give permission for you to edit, and add whatever you would like about your Mann Family on your trusted list, like your Mann Family from Kent, England.
