Only one field for place names?

Hi there,

I just started adding family members to my tree so I may be missing something. But there only seems to be one field for places (eg birth place). I was looking for a field for the location (eg town or city) and a separate field for the country. Eg I was born in Maennedorf, Switzerland. Do I put this information all in the same field? I was expecting to put Maennedorf in one field for the city and Switzerland in another field for the country. Would love some clarification on this please. Thanks
