The value of a Y Chromosone Test compared with an Autosomal Test in my case.

Hello, I'm a 73 year old female who has had a 23&me autosomal DNA test. I find the results very lean on my paternal side. I have no brothers but I do have a male cousin who is the son of my father's brother. Is there any value in having him take the Family Tree Y chromosone DNA test. Any advice will be appreciated.  Regards & thanks, Irene

Yes, Irene. A yDNA 37marker test at FamilyTreeDNA for your male Draper cousin could help you prove your Draper line. There's a Draper surname project at FTDNA at    https://www.familytreedna.com/group-join.aspx?Group=Draper  Signing up through that project would save you a few dollars. If you're lucky your cousin will match someone else who is already in the project.
