James - I would like to submit additional information that may help you learn about WILLARD G BUNYEA.
Transcribed below is a combination of Census records, Cemetery records, Death records and information from family trees on Ancestry.com and posts from rootsweb.com.
WILLARD G BUNYEA was born - according to the 1900 Census, on Feb 1837 in Rhode Island. But, on the 1860 and 1920 Census, he states he was born in Michigan, and on the 1910 Census, he states he was born in Rhode Island. So, I guess it's a "toss up" between Michigan and Rhode Island.
