The profile you are linking to is for a person born over 400 years ago.  Are you trying to prove a connection to Samuel Rutherford?  If so, do you believe you're a direct male descendant (i.e. is your surname Rutherford)?  If so, then you can take a Y-DNA test.  There is at least one Rutherford DNA prject:  https://www.familytreedna.com/groups/rutherford/about/background

If Samuel's isn't your direct paternal lineage and you're just trying to see if you are related, I don't think a genealogy test will help you in that respect (because it's over 400 years ago).
