How to export a GEDCOM file from WikiTree ?

I would like to check that every field in every profile I manage, is up to date against my Gramps database (reflected as a GEDCOM file). How can I export a GEDCOM file to use as a base for the comparison?

What a great question!  One I didn't even think to ask - and now I can get a gedcom to compare against my "megafile" in Family Tree Maker.  Thanks for asking!

That is very easy! Go to Download GEDCOM and click the button. The file will be created during the night so you should receive a message in the morning that the file is ready to be downloaded smiley

Thx for the quick answer, but that's too easy ! What I would like is the same functionality, but ONLY for profiles I manage. And I can't see any options around that button...
When you export a GEDCOM you only get the profiles you manage!
But the notice says: "Your file will include all the profiles you are trusted to access. This could include profiles that you did not create."...
I just checked the last export I have and the only profile where I know I am only on the trusted list (and not the manager) is not included in it.
OK, I've submitted a request, and I'll check too. If that's allright, I will submit a request to drop the notice or make it precise what it means.
And ReThx for the help !
I just looked at the gedcom export with notepad and the profile IS in there, it only did not show up in the application I use to view the contents (PAF) since it it not connected to the main tree (no need for the notice to dissapear ;))!
In my use I have never had any problems with it but if you are on the trusted list for a lot of profiles (of which you are also a manager) but I can imagine this is troublesome when you want to compare the files.
Unfortunately, the GEDCOM export is very limited in its options. I'll add just exporting managed profiles to the to-do list. Another thing that's been requested is to just export the ancestors of a certain person.
I found an easy way to keep track of a particular branch of the tree.
Just click on the descendents sign of person you want to check and print off the page.
I can keep track of individual branches alot faster that way.

Unfortunately for me export doesn't work, url http://www.wikitree.com/gedcoms/HOSTOMSK%C3%BD-1-8eb517.ged is generated bud when i try to download it i got

Error 404: Page Not Found

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Stanislav,

I'm sorry about this, it's a problem with the accented character in your name and how we name the files. I've manually changed the file name for this one so you can access it: http://www.wikitree.com/gedcoms/HOSTOMSKY.ged

We need to fix this so it doesn't happen to others.

Chris

I tryed to export GEDCOM, but it's still impossible http://www.wikitree.com/gedcoms/HOSTOMSK%C3%BD-1-771f87.ged
Hi Stanislav. I am very sorry. I know this must be very frustrating and annoying. I will e-mail you the URL of the edited filename and post here when the problem is fixed.
Stanislav, this bug should finally be fixed. You should be able to export a file now. (Our system no longer using last names in the filenames, to avoid the difficulty entirely.) I sincerely apologize for long it took to fix this minor bug. It's really unacceptable.
It's fixed, thank You
The file cannot be downloaded from Microsoft edge unless someone has a solution.  Only option from wikitree email is save target as.  No save file as option provided when right clicking.
