Hi!

We'd like to help you find an answer to your question.  A little clarification might help the search for records...

Why did you link the question to Richard Cadman?  Is he related to the Faulks somehow?

Is there some reason to believe that William should be "linked" to George?  In what way do you think they should be connected or related?

Thanks for the direction.  I hope we can figure it out!

I had an ancestor who was in the 54th Foot Regiment. A cousin of mine spent time at Kew, http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ , researching his enlistment record which totaled 10 years from 1777 to 1887.

Thanks for the replies. My query to Richard Cadman was wrong. (Is possibly McNiell)

Someone on ancestry ID:  CADMAN16 has records, sources and photos

of George Faulks (fought at Waterloo).

I would like to think George was my GGG Grandfather.

Going to Nat Archives would be too much for me. Warwick Record Office was bad enough.

Thanks Colin
