In addition to the Census listed in the previous answer are:

On the 1930 Lackawanna, Erie Co., New York Census CHARLES ROBBINS, age 52, born in North Carolina, is listed as "negro".  Also listed is wife, EMMA, and children: HARVEY, LEONARD, EDITH, VERNELL, JAMES and ERNEST.

On the 1920 Lackawanna, Erie Co., New York Census, CHARLES ROBBINS, age 43, born in North Carolina, is listed as "black".  Also listed is his wife, EMMA, and children:  NAOMI, SADIE, MABEL, HAZEL, HARVEY, LEONARD, and EDITH.

On the 1915 Lackawanna, Erie Co.,, New York Census, CHARLES ROBBINS, age 38, is listed as "negro".  Also listed is his wife, EMMA, and children: NAOMI, SADIE, MABEL, HAZEL and HARVEY.

On the 1910 Lackawanna Ward 1, Erie Co., New York Census, CHARLES ROBBINS, age 33, born in North Carolina, is listed as "mulatto".  Also listed as "mulatto" is his wife, EMMA, and children; ETHEL, NAOMI, SAIDE, MABAL and HAZEL.

Living next to CHARLES and EMMA are EMMA's parents, SAMUEL and RACHAEL JONES, also listed as "mulatto".

I think I found your CHARLES ROBBINS on the 1900 Sparrows Point, Baltimore Co., Maryland Census:  he is age 23, "black", born Nov 1876 in Virginia, and he is a laborer in a ship yard.

EMMA and her family are found on this same 1900 Census - EMMA C JONES is age 20,"black",  born Feb 1880 in Maryland.

Just a little additional information - CHARLES ROBBINS's wife, EMMA JONES was the daughter of SAMUEL JONES and RACHAEL MOLLISON.

RACHAEL MOLLISON's parents were FRANCIS "FRANK" MOLLISON and SARAH.  SAMUEL and RACHAEL JONES are living with her parents on the 1880 Dist. 12, Baltimore Co., Maryland Census.  All persons in this household are listed as "black".

I tracked FRANCIS "FRANK" and SARAH MOLLISON from the 1880 to the 1850 Census.

Did you know that FRANK MOLLISON served in the US Colored Troops?  He enlisted on March 1, 1864 in Vicksburg, MS for a period of 3 years.  He was a private in the 2nd Regiment US Colored Light Artillery.

On the 1860 Baltimore Ward 16, Baltimore Co., Maryland Census, FRANK, SARAH and their children are listed as "mulatto".

FRANK MOLLISON's parents were HENRY and EMILY MOLLISON.  I found HENRY MOLLISON on the 1840 Baltimore, Ward 11, Baltimore Co., Maryland Census, listed as head of the household of "free persons of color".

You may be interested to know the information for FRANK MOLLISON that is on the 1870 Dist. 12, Baltimore Co., Maryland Census:

Head of household, FRANCIS MOLLISON, age 53, "black", born in Maryland, his real estate is worth $1,000, his personal estate is $350, he is a farmer.

Also, FRANK's father, HENRY MOLLISON, (listed on the 1860 Census), states his occupation as a "doctor", with a personal estate worth $200.

Sorry this is so long, but I just don't know when to quit when it comes to trying to help others with their family history!  Sincerely, Melinda
