Derrick has expertly and patiently gone over, above and beyond cleaning up several generations of Holcombe's in both England and Wales based upon sources, and not hearsay.  I hope his efforts eventually help identify the English and Wales family connections for several groups of American Holcombe families across the pond. Derrick, I cannot thank you enough.
