not crediting activities

In the wee hours of the morning several days ago, my activity feed on my Navigation Page didn't register several hours' work that I did.  It just did it again - my last activity shows as yesterday afternoon, although I've done things since then (that my G2G profile shows).  I've refreshed  the page, and I've even logged out/logged in ... still just up to yesterday afternoon.  Is anyone else experiencing this, of is it just me again?

Cheers,
Liz

Hi Liz,

This could be serious.

Can you isolate specific changes that you made that aren't in your Contributions feed?

Were the changes themselves saved? For example, if you go to the Changes page of a profile does it show that you made an edit, but that same edit doesn't appear on your Contributions list or Watchlist Activity Feed?

Chris - yup & yup.  Just sent you an e-mail with details.

Thanks,

Liz

And a PS at the end of it all: I can read, really!  I just thought contributions/activities were interchangable terms & it didn't register Chris was asking about a different feed than I was looking at (had I clicked on the link he provided, that would've shown me, but...)  So - Sorry Chris!  And thanks for sorting me out :D
Hi Liz,

I got your e-mail. Some of these can be explained by the profile not being on your Watchlist, i.e. if you make an edit to a profile and you're not on the Trusted List, it will be displayed in your Contributions but not in your Watchlist Activity Feed.

Between that and refreshing/reloading, could all of them be explained?

Chris
aha!  refreshing/reloading doesn't come into it - all's explained by not being on the trusted list.  I didn't realize activty feed and contributions showed different things for me.  I do so much checking for matches, cleaning up bios, & sharing info I find that's for folks not in my line, I sometimes spend a lot of time on profiles not on my watchlist.  Just checked my contributions page (never even noticed that link down there) and it's all there.

Thanks!
