Fascinating article about rescue of over 800 sunken gravestones in a cemetery

The cemetery, in York, Pennsylvania, United States was the only one there in which African Americans were permitted to be buried before the 1960's.  Several of them are notable.

I don't know if there are profiles here for the ones that were specifically named in the article ... but there certainly should be.

Thanks for posting the article, Gaile! I recognize a few of those names, so I know we have some of the profiles already. Now that they've found the headstones, it will be even easier to connect people to the cemetery.
