Hi Shiralee! Welcome to WikiTree. At this time, you only have you in your tree. You will need to build out your tree until you connect to the community tree to see if you are related to royalty. When you are connected to the community tree, you'll see "Cousins" under the My WikiTree Tab and you'll be able to see how you related to multiple groups, such as royalty, presidents, mayflower, etc. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for replying but I don’t know what to do when I tried to upload my dad it would not do it and at what point do you get to the community?

Shiralee, I see that you have added your father. Now, you can add his parents and if you know their parents, add them. At some point you can skip down and add your mother and then her parents. Adding one person at a time helps you to see what information you already have and what you might need to look for. As you do this, it will become easier. If you need more help, just come back to the forum and ask!

Hi Shiralee ~ sorry, I had some client work to finish so I'm just getting back on. You add one person at a time to your tree until you hit a match. Each branch will be different, it depends on other family adding their tree information. I've hit some at the great grandparent level and others farther back. So it depends.
