Finding Birth/Baptism Record of German 3rd-Great-Grandmother

Hi everyone, I need help figuring out where to find the baptism record for my 3rd-great-grandmother Caroline Wilhelmine Christiana Schwartz. I know that she was born on 22 December 1859 in Moltzahn, West Pomerania (outside of Demmin). Her father was named Johann (Johannes?) Schwartz and her mother was Christina Dohlmann.

Any help is much appreciated!

Some websites that may help you get unstuck if you're prepared to invest some time and effort:

The first website provides an English usage description on the page I linked (pdf file).

On the second website, if you search for "Moltzahn" in the first screen, then click on "1819 Volkszählung" (at the bottom of the page), then search for "Schwartz" or "Klafehn" in the next screen, the system will look those names up in register of the 1819 census (the census itself is not accessible). Perhaps conveniently for you, this website seems to be run by an English speaker. Click on "GenWebsite" to switch to the English version.

Please use at your own risk. Good luck.

The third website also has a metasearch function which allows for last name and place name searches across all their affiliated databases. For a small location like Moltzahn, it is worthwhile to run a place name search without filling in the last name field, resulting in a list of all persons connected to that location. Unfortunately, in your case, neither Schwartz (or alternative spelling Schwarz) nor Klafehn are found in Moltzahn.

Best wishes for your genealogical endeavours from Germany!
