Question about wives - William Gudgeon 1792-1861

I'm not certain that William Gudgeon's first wife is correct. I'm not certain she's wrong either, but if anyone has any relevant knowledge I'd love to hear it.

He married Elizabeth Robinson (neé Chambers) on 17 Sep 1838. On the marriage certificate [https://www.ancestry.co.uk/mediaui-viewer/tree/4793792/person/-879323507/media/64296775-542c-45a8-a209-91a9a21288fb?usePUBJs=true] they are listed as widow/widower, so William had been married before.

On the 1841 census he is with his second wife, daughter Hannah (aged 15), Elizabeth (aged 14), Eleanor (aged 11) - all presumably from his first marriage)Margaret (aged 3), could be either wife and John aged 5 months, presumably from his second wife. Also present are Mary and Ann Robinson aged 10 and 8, his wife's children from her fist marriage.

However, I haven't seen anything that provides a solid link between Eleanor Leeming and William. There is a marriage that fits, but it's in Chorley and William was born in Kendal and lived there in 1841. His second daughter is called Eleanor though, which could be a clue.

Can anyone confidently link William to Eleanor Leeming?

The marriage does appear to fit. It was customary for the wedding to take place in the brides parish. I see Eleanor was born in Chorley, Lancashire so the location of Chorley fits. The distance between Chorley to Kendall is only 52 miles. And William was born in Tatham Fells which is about halfway between Chorley and Kendall. Seems a slam dunk. The only other document that would prove the relationship would be the recording of the mother's maiden name on one of the kids birth , marriage or death records. No luck with any other records on my search.
Thank you - I've taken the leap as the circumstantial evidence is very strong.
