Is this the Ann Dewitt Prather who was born in MS about 1834? In the 1940 US Census, parents are Robert J. and Emmett C. Pranther. Sister Jeanne E. is 7 and younger brother Robert J. is 3. Everyone in the household was born in MS. The Census was taken in Ward 14, Jackson, Beat 4, Hinds, MS.

Sorry, I don't have a clue about her nickname.

Short answer is yes, same person.  She is my Mom.  The birthdate in your question should have asked was she born in MS about 1934, not 1834.

My kids have been spending too much time on Minecraft recently, and I recently changed the password on their user account to "Grandma Ann's childhood nickname".

Unknown to me, until now, is that they must have cleverly used my open laptop while I was doing something else, and asked this question on Wikitree.

I know the childhood nickname, my 9 and 8 year old does not: and they are now using social networking to seek this out.

Makes me worry that they will reach out to my aunts and ask this question!!!

Thank you Frank for attempting to answer.  For reasons above, I do not plan to add Mom's nickname to her profile, and answer the question, until I change the password to another value.
And, to clarify the names:

Grandma's first name is "Emmette" (as per her death certificate, and for a recorded bible record).
