I am an African-American from South Carolina; my father (Willie Floyd) and mother (Anna Ingram Floyd) came from Barnwell County and the Millet, Allendale areas of South Carolina. Is there anything you can share with me? I am

You didn't include a timeframe of his birth or marriage, and census data is public up to 1940, so if he was born prior to 1940 here are some possibilities from that general area.

Do know the names of any of his siblings?  That might help narrow down which family might be your ancestor.

U S Census, 1940  Allendale Township, Allendale, SC

head  Charlotte Floyd F 65 SC

grandson  Willie Floyd  M 14 SC

granddaughter  Charlotte Floyd F 8 SC

grandson  Norman Floyd M 4 SC

U S Census, 1940  Barton, Wilson Township, Allendale, SC

head  Rayfield Owens M 22 SC

partner  Willie Floyd  M 18 SC

U S Census, 1940   Barnwell Township, Barnwell, SC

head  Willie Floyd M 35 SC

wife  Annia Floyd F 29 SC

son  Henry Floyd M 13 SC

dau  Lucille Floyd F 11 SC

son  Willie Floyd  M 9 SC

dau  Louise Floyd F 8 South Carolina

son  Ray Lee Floyd M 4 SC

son  Bobbie Lee Floyd M 3 SC

son  James Floyd M 0 SC

U S Census, 1940   Four Mile Township, Barnwell, SC

head  James Floyd M 36  SC

wife  Rosena Floyd F 28 SC

daughter  Orrie Lou Floyd F 9 SC

son  James Floyd M 7 SC

Is your father the WILLIE FLOYD that was born Nov 25, 1905 in Barnwell Co., South Carolina and died Feb. 14, 1964 in Charleston, South Carolina?

Is your mother the ANNA INGRAM FLOYD that was born Sept 9,. 1909 in South Carolina and died Nov 9, 1983 in Charleston, South Carolina?

Do you need information on who were their parents, grandparents, etc.?

Could you please furnish us with any other information you may have so that we can be more specific in our research?

I have found WILLIE and ANNA FLOYD on the 1930 Richland, Barnwell Co., South Carolina Census and the 1940 Barnwell, Barnwell Co., South Carolina Census.

Do you know if ANNA FLOYD's parents were HENRY and ANNA ELIZA INGRAM?

Was ANNA INGRAM FLOYD's middle name "EVLINE"?

Do you know if WILLIE FLOYD's parents were WILLIAM and ALICE FLOYD?

I have quite a bit of information but need to know if I have the right WILLIE and ANNA INGRAM FLOYD.

Sincerely, Melinda
