How accurate are WikiTree DNA Connections

They are only as accurate as the connections made between profiles.  WikiTree does not do any DNA analysis - you don't even upload your test results here.  You only do two things here -

  1.  you enter the fact that you (or a deceased person whose profile you manage) took a particular DNA test
  2. you make connections between profiles that relate them as parent, sibling, spouse, or child, hopefully citing source documents that attest to these relationships

WikiTree automatically propagates reporting the DNA relationships based on the connections that were entered.  Also, if any profiles have a private family tree then the DNA propagation stops there.
