I've been able to reliably find a few generations back, but the surnames change between Meyers, Mayer, and Maillard. I've hit a brick wall after reaching Adam Mayer or Maillard (Maillard-194). He was married to Rosa Romero for a short time and had three kids - Lora, Francois, and Perpetue. He died shortly before Perpetue was born and at that point Rosa remarried to a man named Elise Romero (who i believe was her third cousin) and they had quite a few children.
I've not been able to find really any information on Adam or who his parents were reliably. I've seen a few ancestry trees which have his parents listed, but the only information I can find on him is from FindAGrave, which I'm not sure the validity of. Thanks for any help!
