Hi There,

Thanks for your response to my quest for John Thomas. The dates you give would fit, however both John as a christian name and Thomas as a surname are very common in Cornwall and especially St Agnes area.   I was recently in St Agnes and there are a number of THomas families to this day that do not appear to be linked at least in recent history.

I have the father of my John Thomas as Richard Thomas and his mother as Margaret Dunn, as earlier stated one of his sons (John that is) was my Gt x 5 grandfather William Thomas who married Mary Williams.

If we can link this to your John Thomas perhaps we can compare more details?

Thanks for your response
