Can anyone answer why my sister who is on my trusted list cannot view the names of her own grandchildren

For this purpose, it does not help for your sister to be on your own Trusted List. See this Help page section, which says

If I add you to my Trusted List can you access every profile I can access?

No. Every profile has its own Trusted List. As a WikiTree user, you have a profile and your profile has a Trusted List. People on this list can access your profile but they cannot automatically access other profiles you have created or edited. Those other profiles have their own Trusted Lists.

Instead, you have to add your sister to the Trusted List of each of the grandchildren.

Excuse my ignorance,I am more confused than ever, I added my sister to my trusted list so she could perhaps add more detail about her family , kids and grandkids. I tried putting her email on her children profile and it said this emails already in use. What is the best process to correct this, step by step ,sorry for being a bit slow on the uptake .

That error message is correct, Phillip. Do not add your sister's email to the Email Address field of any profile. That field is only for when the profile is a WikiTree member.

Instead, on each of the grandchild profiles, go to the Privacy tab. Scroll down to the section Add to Trusted List. Enter your sister's email address in the box, and click the Add This Person button.

I found that I had to add the person's email to every profile I wanted them to be able to see that were living peope that I managed or they could not see them.

Person's email is only put on the profile for the person that the email matches to.  That is so that person can become a member of Wikitree ID and be the PM of their own profile.  That doesn't have anything to do with other profiles on Wikitree ID.  Seeing other 'locked' profiles uses the Privacy folder on Wikitree profiles to add them to Trusted List of those profiles.
