Searching for Stickers in Profiles

OK , I admit the I have no clue on how to use Wikitree+,even though I have tried on many occasions. It seems to be written in a foreign language, with english prompts that do not represent the underlying reality of the programme.

I wish to find all of the profiles that use the medal sticker and have a medal= value of "Victory Medal". How would I go about doing this search.  Which section, which field, all of it.

Regards, Craig

Hi Craig. A WikiTree Plus text search for

TemplateFull=Medal TemplateText="Victory Medal"

appears to do the right thing. Here is the link (click the Get profiles button). I saw 120 results. They can be up to a week out of date. I think this may include cases where the medal= value includes "Victory Medal" with more wording, as well as where it is exactly what you want.

You can also have a look at the template summary.

Starting link is on the template page https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:Medal in the first table in line Parameters usage stats: . It changes each week.

This week it is: https://www.softdata.si/wt/Templ_20230129/Template_Medal_Param1.htm

And there you can see 4 variations of "Victory Medal". and the total of them is 116. 4 less than on WikiTree+ search. I guess 4 od those are false matches probably since text Victory can appear on other templates.

Thanks for this information and the answer star, Aleš!

The table listing parameter usage certainly helps to show what is going on.

Thanks Jim and Aleš.  Helpful.
