why are my connections constantly disappearing?

As I add profiles, the number of connections generally increases, but not much, as lots of the previous connections seem to disappear.

So, I copied 6th degree connections (500) into Excel and then again a week later and there are now only 478 with lots of names missing, maybe 10% of them.

If a different connection is removed or changed. It would decrease.

I have never noticed my connection count go down. The simplest explanation would be that someone removed a connection somewhere within your CC7.

It is possible that if the privacy level on a profile within your CC7 was changed (by someone else) that it would no longer be able to count connections via that path.
