Are the Cooks of Bishops cannings related to me, David Cook

Question

My ggg gf was Michael Cook 1763-1838 b, Bishops Cannings Wiltshire, married Lucy Hamlyn.The COOK site on Wikitree shows 7 generations of Cooks from Bishops Cannings from Michael 1576 to Michael 1765. I have managed to link them all together but not to my ggg gf. His father , my gggg gf was John Cook 1742 who married Sarah Ruddle in Bishops Canning. I feel I must be related to this long \cook chain but can not find the link

I had a look at the marriage licence, for John Cook and Sarah Ruddle they had John,Ruddle yeo, of Bishops Cannings stand bond.

John Cook also says at his marriage he is a "yeoman"

Which would imply he is a farmer that owns his own land (by freehold or copyhold).

In which case I’d suggest he probably comes from a family that may well leave wills, that you could find John mentioned in.
