Asking for help with a Newspapers.com look up.

Question

My great uncle, Harold Howe, died in Sacramento, California on 9 Feb 1942. Neither my mom. or uncles know how he died. Mom thought he'd been murdered, one of my uncles thought he was hit by a car. They do remember their mother, Harold's sister, wanted to go to California to see what actually happened to him, but her husband wouldn't let her go. Any info at all would be huge.

Wish I'd been able to turn up more. I ran through Ancestry.com, also. Some conflation with another Harold H. Howe, but nothing that indicates the cause of death of the correct Harold Harlow.

I checked front pages and local news and see no murders related. I think that would have been front page news or front page of local news.

Hi John, I found his obituary in the Sacramento Bee Newspaper on Feb. 9th, 10th & 11th. They are all three identical and do not give a cause of death. I have downloaded two of them as JPEGS.  Can I post one of them to his profile page so you can read it? It also has the link information attached.
