I didn't notice that this same merge had been requested in 2021. What now?

[[Lillington-77]] and Lillington-73 appear to represent the same person because: their vital dates match as does their basic history. The son George on Lillington-73 has vital dates that don't match those reported on Lillington-77, so that should be carefully evaluated (including updating to the reported birth year to avoid a merge error; if the later date is proven, then the narrative can be adjusted, instead). One profile notes Acting Governor, the other, just says Governor. Please reply to this note if you have any questions. Porter On behalf of US SoCol Project
It seems very clear that Alexander Lillington Lillington-73 and Alexander Lillington Lillington-77 are the same person. Both born in 1643 and both served as Governor/Deputy Governor of North Carolina. I have been working on the Lillington family and am prepared to do the work to merge the detailed Lillington-77 profile into Lillington-73.
Only the name of Alexander's father is problematical for me at this time. Cathie Stumpenhaus
