Hi Margaret, have you tried contacting the profile manager?  She is active here, and may be able to offer insight into the family.

Hi Mark, I asked to be put on the Trusted List. Awaiting response from her. Judi and I are cousins through the Brock line. Thank you for your answer.

Margaret, profiles of persons deceased less than 100 years ago are not required to be open.  They can be open, public, or private at the discretion of the profile manager.  In this case, the person died in the 1980's and the profile manager has made both the family tree and biography public.

If you have information to contribute to it, you can add it as a comment or send a private message to the manager.  Either way, be sure to add sources for the information.

Thank you Gaile, I didn’t realize about the 100 year option.

Which is why I haven’t understood that the profile for George Harrison the musician is locked. The England Census for what may be him, is locked for the same reason. I believe our families intermarried but I don’t think he’s a cousin anyway. He had lived on the same street as my father’s first cousin.

George Harrison (one of the Beatles, if I recall) should be included in the Notables project.  The only exception from the 100 year rule is for living Notables, but the choice is at the discretion of the project.  If you contact the project or its leader and ask, they may be able to open that profile for public view, although making any changes to it would still be restricted to the trusted list.

Thank you Gaile, I just found his profile! Guess I was getting the wrong George Harrison when I put in the search, it said you had to be on the Trusted list for persons born before 1940.
