G2G: How do I get Cantrell-1111 to be for my gedcom ancestor? [closed]

Question

How do I get the profile Cantrell-1111 to be the one my Gedcompare is needing to be added?

I think that's the problem

I clciked Add in my gedcompare for James Monroe Cantrell. I did this: Steps: Enter basic data > Review matches.

One is a perfect Match... so I click This is the Person. the profile pops up and the comparison pop up ..... but  I don't know what to do next...

How do I get Cantrell-1111 to be for my gedcom ancestor?

I think you may be saying that Cantrell-1111 is the same person as a profile in your Gedcom, but for some reason they aren't matched in Gedcompare. If I have guessed correctly, you can go to your main Gedcompare screen, find the person who corresponds to Cantrell-1111, and click "COMPARE WITH" on the line for that person. That will give you a place to request a comparison with Cantrell-1111. When you compare them, you can mark them as a match.
