I am researching my family tree on my fathers side, Jack Edward Markley, and have stalled at his father, Edward John Markley, who died in Erie, PA in Aug. 1940. I think he was born in Jimtown, PA about Jan. 1882.  In 1915 he married Maude Leaha Stainbrooke at Cambridge Springs, PA.  She was born about June 1884 in  Saegerstown, PA , and died in Erie, PA about Aug 1935. Need Info on Ancestors and father of Edward John Markley, and any help from the WikiTree community would be appreciated.

1910 US Census has Edward J. Markley in Cambridge Springs, Crawford Co., PA. He is 26y, Maude is 27y, Elizabeth V. Stainbrook 57y (mother-in-law?), Esther Stainbrook, 12y. All of these family members were born PA.

1920 US Census has Edward J. Markley in Erie, PA 38y, Maud 38y.

There is a John Markley in teh 1930 US Census, for Erie, Erie Co., PA who is 47y old and divorced. The head of the household is Walter Kissman 26y and Walter's mother Anna Helterline 43y. All three in the household were born in PA. This John Markley is the uncle of Walter Kissman. (probably a different person that subject).

Sorry, I did not find any clue for Edward J. Markley's parents.
