Need some Guidance on creating a One Place Study

I’d like to create a One Place Study for San Antonito, New Mexico but I’m a little confused about how I should go about it and how everything fits together.

Should I create it through the one place studies project by sending a message as described here, then request to have it nested in the New Mexico State project?

I guess I’m just confused about how the study, Inited States project, New Mexico state project, and New Mexico/San Antonito categories are all supposed to tie together.

I have a lot of family from San Antonito and I’m very interested in starting the study so that I can coordinate all my research. Any advice is appreciated!

Hello, P!

Yes, please answer the join post and send the message with your place, since you will be a new member. Our project leadership team will get the study page set up for you and nest your study category. Be sure to include which San Antonito your study will focus on, the one in Socorro or the one in Bernalillo County.

New Mexico Project is part of the United States Project. You can join the United States Project here: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1404331
indicate which states you would like to focus on.

Thanks for your interest in One Place Studies!
