Removing first attempt at a new profile

Question

As a newcomer to Wikitree, I would appreciate knowing how to change a relation's profile from one I barely started to one I found already extant.  Is it possible to somehow delete or merge my original attempt?

Even as an experienced Wikitreer, I've done this.  

The answer is : Go to the bottom of the profile and find the "Merge" option and then request a merge with the existing profile.  The profile owner of the original profile will approve the merge and then biography info etc will have to be combined.

You need to merge the two profiles.
