G2G: Draft changes are missing.

Question

Several times, I have lost my bio edits even though the auto save draft was operating.  Usually this happens as I am going to a different tab to do researching and am away from the bio page.  When I switch back to the bio page, it is just as if I had never made any updates.  A few times, I have been able to click on the [compare draft with saved information] and the saved draft contains the bio edits.  Tonight, that didn't happen.  The draft compare page was totally blank.  

I am currently using Brave but I have also experienced it while using Chrome.

I had something similar happen to me earlier today.I had the profile in edit mode open in two tabs. not recommended because although I saved the bio/sources in the 2nd tab... I also saved the bio/sources in the first tab which was without an update. Needless to say I lost all I had entered and it's all because I had too many tabs for wikiTree!

I know this isn't your problem and I don't have an answer as to why you lost text and sources.

what I would suggest is you save each time you have new text and sources instead of having multiple entries.

If this happens again, can you email me at jamie [at] wikitree.com with the profile ID so I can investigate and see if the draft is getting disconnected somehow?
