I am trying to adopt a profile and cannot because it is "public". How do I get access?

Question

I am trying to add members of my Dad's side of the family. My ID is:

When I try to add my paternal grandmother I get the following:

"You do not have permission to edit this profile. Request to join the Trusted List."

I have requested for a long time and never get a response.

To gain access to those profiles (because they are locked and have no managers) you will need to email info@wikitree.com

Include all of the information for the profiles you need unlocked and they can take care of you.

What does "adopt a profile" mean?

You may "adopt a profile" by adding yourself as profile manager when the profile has no manager.
