Source Citations found a good example

Reading through a genealogy magazine this morning, I found an interesting article on sources, which explained how to format a source citation which I actually understood.

Go down the page to the Sample Source Citations for a quick overview (or read the whole page).

I was particularly interested in the inclusion of the format eg: digital image.   I often stumbled on differentiating a transcription vs digital image.

It is a pretty well done article. It covers the 5 questions a good citation must answer and gives good examples.

I have read and re-read all the pages on WikiTree relating to sources, and somehow I never fully understand.

I often find what seem simple to many others, I struggle with, and I do have a reasonable IQ, I once was a programmer.

Maybe that is why, I look at things differently.

So when I saw this article which I found easy to understand, I just had to share.
