Can you tell me who was in the car with Eli Ward Threatt when he wrecked and was killed?

Noticed a not stating Eli Ward Threatt was killed transporting an apendecedous victim. Can you tell me where you got that report and more importantly who the person was he was transporting. Thanks so much for any help you can offer! Dale

No mention of appendicitis and the other three men survived.
Wait...it says they were taking Griffin to the Hospital, Royal was a hitchhiker
