Following Amy Johnson Crow's 52 Weeks of Ancestors themes, the US Black Heritage Project will be featuring and working on two of our notables each week who fit that theme.
This week we are featuring two notables who can identify, which can have different meanings.
Carter Godwin Woodson (cc7=45) was an American historian, author, journalist and the founder of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History. And as one of the first scholars to study African-American history, he can identify very well with the African-American community.

Evelyn Marie (Carmon) Nicol (cc7=12) was an American immunologist and microbiologist. She worked to identify all sorts of things beneath the lens of a microscope. Among her achievements are a patent for a new technique to produce an enzyme that dissolves blood clots and a test that identifies toxoplasmosis in pregnant women.

During this week you can help us with any of the following?
- Neither of these amazing people are connected to the Global Tree. You can help us by adding more family to their trees. Every new profiles gets us closer to connection.
- Adding additional categories and stickers that might apply to both profiles.
- Making sure all the attached family for both who should have the {{African-American Sticker}} have it on their profiles.
