saving temporary details from WT responses - how?

working away in WT there is often a moment when one would like to "save" something/info for a next/previous step.

Some examples:  the Profile name and number for a few profiles, the lists (sorted) or some subsection of a list -for say - a few dates of possible candidate profiles - this particularly when there are several identical names offered for a query, the images from some of the apps(instead of screen-scrapes), I expect there are other instances too.

On W10 I use Note or Control P but they both lose linkage that would be there on a WT page. Any suggestions would be helpful.

There is the clipboard/notes in the WIkitree Extension, and personal free-space pages that can be used for that, but I am not sure if they would tackle all of your needs. Have you tried them?

The Scratchpad on your Nav Home Page may be the perfect place for that, but sometimes I want to temporarily store more extensive information.  I often find sources for family members of the person I'm researching and want to save these for later use when their profiles will be added.  I add a section at the very end of a profile, titled:

'''TEMPORARY STORAGE OF OTHER FAMILY MEMBER RECORDS'''

and put the citations for these sources there.  If I don't end up adding the profiles, I add the Needs Profiles Created category to give a jump start to whoever does add them later.
