My name is Mathew John McConnell. I’m looking for information on my family tree. My mother and father were both Canadian & I was born in the U.S. They have both passed away and there names were John Guy McConnell & Colleen Roberta McConnell (Barr was her maiden name). My grandparents on my mothers side were Robert Mathew Barr & Christine Barr. I know very little more then this. Our lineage is supposed to be Scottish and Irish. On my fathers side, his dad was also a John McConnell and I think my grandmother’s name was Mary or Martha. I wasn’t close with them & know very little. My father did have a younger sister, named Melanie.
Any insight you could give me on my family’s lineage & our family tree would be amazing!
