How do I suggest a merge when a merge was rejected once? [closed]

This started when I tried to solve a DD suggestion where a mother died before her child was born. New evidence (source) shows that Hills-65 has the wrong spouse (George Blanchard) listed. Hills-3032 has the right spouse listed.(John Blanchard). Both Hills-65 and Hills-3032 have the same parents.
WikiTree profile: Elizabeth Blanchard

Your first step is to edit the profile to include all of evidence that leads the conclusion that this woman married John Blanchard, not George Blanchard. Do not simply state that this is the correct relationship. Instead, acknowledge that researchers previously identified her as the wife of George Blanchard and describe the evidence that has led to the new interpretation.
I have included a link to the source of the new information.

It is in footnote 12 on the page in the link. My source that I added yesterday is the only source in the profile. Other source information is above footnote 12 in 1.V.
Ralph,

I'm just looking at the profiles in question...I don't think a merge will solve the issue.  It looks like the wives of George and Joseph were corrected, but that some of George's children are still connected to Elizabeth Hills as their mother.  They should be moved over to George's wife Mary.  If you believe Mary is not the correct mother, than you can at least disconnect them from Elizabeth.

Anyway, that's what I'm seeing just glancing at it.  Take another look and see if that sounds right.
Excellent plan. I will attempt that.
I have added a source to George's profile that shows his children with incorrect mother Elizabeth Hills - who should be Mary _______ . That source may be one of the original publications (from 1902) that showed incorrectly that Elizabeth Hills was George's wife.

I've also submitted a correction to FindAGrave that shows Elizabeth Hills as wife of George Blanchard.
Thanks. I removed all 15 children because, even though 2 had the same first name as Elizabeth's, they were not a match.

I added sources for what I changed.

I agree these two profiles for Elizabeth Hills Blanchard should be merged, but without the children attached to Hills-65. They were not her children. She never married George.

Thanks. I agree. This is the best answer.
I removed the children and added John as the spouse. The new source supports what I changed. Now I can answer the DD suggestion. Thanks for your help. This should make the merge editing easier.
