Hi,

I cannot find Thomas Andrews an american on passenger lists on this website : https://mhnsw.au/guides/assisted-immigrants-digital-shipping-lists/

What I know for sure is that he got married in Sydney at the age of 30 in 1852.

Does any of you know any other website were I can find passenger list arriving in Australia from the west coast of the US?

Thanks for reading me and sorry for the english mistakes

Hey, we have a few sites in australia with the national archives and state archives. The one you have posted is the state archives for NSW.

There was a gold rush happening in the 1850s for both NSW and Victoria so you may need to try the VIC records

Keep in mind the australia only started allowed "free" settlers into the country in the 1840s, and they may have had to go via the UK. They were required to pay a licence fee to be on th egold fields so if he was there you should be able to find him
Good luck :)

Good collection, Kirsty. Also sometimes worth trying is The Ships List, but it doesn't help with Mathieu's question unfortunately.

There is another site for immigration lists to NSW: Mariners and Ships in Australian Waters. If you search for Thomas Andrews there, a lot of results show up: maybe there's something relevant.
