How can I upload the pictures from iPad?

I tried to upload the pictures from iPad but it won't work.

Hi Dan,

I don't have an iPad handy to test this (maybe someone else does?) so let me ask some more details.

First, you're doing this from Safari or another web browser on the iPad?

Are you on this URL or another image upload page? http://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:UploadPhoto&person_id=3858715

Can you find the image on your iPad using the "Choose File" button?

Assuming you're able to select a file, when you click the "Upload Photo" button what happens? Does it just hang there? Does it give you an error?

Yes I am using the Safari for web browser. I see the " choose file" and " upload photo" and I did click on both of them but nothing happen. I see the " choose file" button as invisible like a ghost and the upload photo button is solid. I tried everything I can think of but nothing happen :-(

Hi Dan. I did some quick research and it sounds like the Safari mobile browser doesn't allow uploading from web forms like this. At all. There is a web browser called iCab that you could download, but other than that, I don't see a solution. The right solution is probably for us to develop a special iPad/iPhone app for uploading photos. But that won't happen right away. Sorry about this.

Thank you for the information. I was going ahead to download iCab and it is working. Only cost $1.99 that was a reasonable price to download iCab. I am glad it is working. Let me know when you finish develop the app for iPad in the future.
