Which William Collins? Does he have a profile on WikiTree? If so, please edit yoru question and add his profile ID to the appropriate field.  While you're editing your post, you might also change the category from WikiTree Tech to Genealogy Help.  That will place your question in the right g2g forum and may get better attention to your question.

I'm sure that readers will also be interested in knowing more about which sources you're looking at.

We need more data.  I have a William Collins in my family , but he was a farmers son, born 1886 in Kent England, not a convict.
