G2G: Genetic.Family on my Macbook?

I have the Chrome extension installed on my Mac, but if I follow the instructions for downloading the DNAGedcom client, I get a popup error message that it can't be installed because it can't be checked for malicious content, and contact the developer because the program needs to be updated.

Can I get some help with this?
