Where are you seeing a "5", J?

The profile is showing up correctly as your father: see this link.

Gosh, Jim. I could have sworn that I entered the degree incorrectly, but you are right. He is listed as my father and now I see that there is a small "1°" icon to the right of the "cite" link next to his profile name. Thank you for confirming that for me! Appreciate the help!

Is the degree something we can enter, thought it all was automated?

No, that's not something you can enter.  It's calculated by the system.  See the WikiTree Browser Extension space page for more details.
