Question

Has anyone heard of the name Sukkau? There is someone buried in my father's family cemetery but I don't know who this person is and I have never heard this name before. He may not be related to us, but I am curious about who he was and what the origin of his last name was. Any ideas?

Oh geez! I didn't even think about looking for that name on Wikitree. I just checked and there are indeed quite a few. From Ukraine and Germany it seems like...more so Ukraine. Interesting. Who is he and how did he come to be buried in our family cemetery? Maybe he's related to another family. Maybe I'll find out something about him or maybe not. I've been researching my family tree for a while and I have never heard of him.
