Rootsweb will be moving trees to ancestry this year. will this affect your links?

Yikes, very possibly. I have cited information from Rootsweb but on which profiles is the question....sigh. So sad to lose Rootsweb. If only Rootsweb and Wikitree had teamed up

It seems that it was the marriage information that we used. And we included a transcription, at least the ones I have checked so far.

We have long known that Ancestry was busy sucking up all the free content online and were citing defensively thankfully.

I guess removing the link (soon to be a broken one) is what needs to be done after I check for the transcription. There may not be an alternate source, but will recheck FS.
