I want two share my photos of my Great Aunts Lela Mindwell Giddings and another to come of Aurelia Marion Giddings. They were my Grandmothers sisters and both died in March of 1887 of diphtheria, leaving my Great Grandmother with one daughter age 1. She carried my Grandmother in her arms for abut 2 + years affraid to put her down for fear she would die too.
