My 3rd GGF, Anthony Strother Catlett born in Virginia 1784 and married Sarah Sally J Shearer in 1815. My research tells me his parents were John Catlett - 1760 and Ann Carter - 1763 but when I look them up it doesn't list him as their child. Another records states that Lucy Taliaferro Catlett 1793 is his brother but again parents don't list him. He signed all his documents as Strother Catlett so did he change his name along the way? Who are his parents?
